Experimental investigation of the influence of internal defects (voids, wrinkles) on the shear properties of CFRP

Stanislav Slovikov, Dmitriy Lobanov

The study focuses on examining the impact of internal manufacturing defects (voids and wrinkles) on the mechanical behavior of structural carbon fiber reinforced polymers (CFRP) under shear loading. Specimens of VKU/VSE1212 material with a…

The influence of technological defects on the mechanical behavior of CFRP during buckling under compression based on DIC data and acoustic emission

Stanislav Slovikov, Dmitry Lobanov, Ekaterina Chebotareva, Valeria Melnikova

The research focuses on examining the impact of technological defects, specifically "dry-spot" and "wrinkles," on the mechanical behavior and buckling resistance of structural composites. The investigation of the buckling phenomenon was…

Influence of Internal Technological Defects on the Mechanical Properties of Structural CFRP

Dmitriy Lobanov, Stanislav Slovikov, Ekaterina Lunegova

The use of carbon-fiber composite materials (CFRP) in critical cases implies an increase in the resistance to the stability of their mechanical properties. For the purpose of in-depth analysis of defects in the experiments, an integrated…
