The stepped isostress method (SSM) is an advanced technique which allows the prediction of the long-term behavior and enables the construction of creep master curves of materials with short-term experimental tests. However, the performance…
Among the various severe plastic deformation techniques, Equal Channel Angular Extrusion (ECAE) is a widely used method that introduces significant plastic deformation into a sample by forcing it through two intersecting channels, without…
Synchrotron light microtomography has proved to be particularly efficient in order to analyze the microstructural characteristics in terms of reinforce fibre distribution and orientation in glass fibre reinforced composites. The spatial…
The cracking characteristics of ductile rocks were studied by similar materials with sand, barite, epoxide resin, polyamide, silicone rubber and alcohol, while the cracking characteristics of brittle rocks were investigated by similar…
This research is a numerical study of the effect of the constrained groove pressing (CGP) process and its impact on a thermoplastic polymer (polyamide PA 66). A simulation is performed using a finite element tool. The effect of the process…
The behavior of thermoplastics depends on several factors, mainly time and temperature. The present work is the subject of an analysis of the dependence of viscoelastic viscoplastic parameters of a model of rheological behavior at the…
The deformation behaviour and fracture mechanisms of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), polypropylene (PP) and polyamide 6 (PA 6) are investigated experimentally under different stress states and at different crosshead speeds of 1, 20 and…
Onyx ® is a new material composed of Polyamide 6 reinforced with short carbon fiber, used in the novel additive manufacturing composites technique. This paper aims to present the axial fatigue performance of this material with and without…
