In the field of composite materials, extensive research has been undertaken on aluminum-graphite composites. However, a research gap has been identified regarding the specific influence of nano-sized graphite particles on their fracture…
The objective of this research work is to study the fracture behavior of Al6061 with graphite particulate composite produced by the stir casting technique. For the study different composition of the particulate metal matrix composite used…
The technology of energy piles for heat storage involves turning the concrete piles buried beneath the ground into a part of the ground-source heat pump system and burying the heat-transfer tubes in the foundation piles, which are regarded…
In structural engineering, composite patch repairs are widely used to address cracked structures. However, their behavior under thermo-mechanical loading remains complex and less understood. This study examines the repair of a…
This study explores how ageing temperature and the volume percentage of Al2O3+B4C nanoparticles influence the machinability and hardness of stir-cast Al-7075 Metal Matrix Composite (MMC). Using liquid metallurgy techniques, hybrid…
Al6061 and its composites are widely employed in applications requiring high strength and impact resistance. Heat treatment, particularly ageing, is a well-established method for enhancing the mechanical properties of these composites.…
The main objective of the work is to study the fracture behavior of AA6061-graphite material using both experimental technique and finite element simulation by considering helicopter rotor blade as a case study. From the case study, it has…
Composite materials application areas have gradually grown, allowing them to reach and conquer new markets from consumer products to specialized niche applications, advanced composite materials make up a significant portion of the…
This research is based on the study of the fatigue behavior of an aluminum alloy plate with a central crack. The plate is subjected to a tensile loading on its lower and upper parts. Several parameters were highlighted, such as the loading…
The use of elastomers has become increasingly important in a variety of industries, including automotive, medical, and food packaging. The adaptability of elastomers to different mechanical stresses has made them a popular choice for these…
